Saint Brendan SCRIP

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

What is Scrip?

Scrip is a program that allows you to purchase gift certificates/cards from merchants who donate a certain percentage of your purchase(s) back to our parish. IT COSTS YOU NOTHING EXTRA.

Could you please give an example of how the program works?

If you purchase four (4) $25.00 gift cards from Wal-Mart, they will donate 5% of your $100.00 back to our parish. You have $100.00 to spend at Wal-Mart.

5% of $100.00 = $5.00

Please note that every merchant and the percentage they donate back to our parish will vary. Refer to the Scrip order form for the specific percentages.

How can I obtain Scrip?

Scrip is sold after every Mass on the 1st and 3rd weekends of each month, unless otherwise noted.

OR, you can place your own scrip order at shopwithscrip.com

New to our Scrip program is an online payment option! You can order your cards, purchase eGift Cards, or reload an existing card and pay online with your bank account or debit/credit card. All online transactions paid for with a bank account will have a $0.15 fee added to the transaction. Online transactions paid for with a debit/credit card will have a 2.6% fee added to the transaction. These fees are imposed by the Scrip program, not the church. All cards from local merchants must still be purchased from Beth Feger, the church office, or school office.

To order online follow these steps to set up an account:

1.) Go to www.shopwithscrip.com

2.) Click on "Register"

3.) Click the "for families" option

4.) Choose "Join a Scrip program"

5.) Enter the enrollment code: 514EF2ED36L1

6.) Fill out your information and click "Register"

Who handles the Scrip program?

Scrip orders can be sent to Beth Feger via phone call, text, or email (573-473-6189, bfeger84@gmail.com). Scrip will also be available for purchase after Mass on the first and third weekend of the month.

Who is allowed to purchase Scrip?

Any family member, relative, friend or co-worker can purchase Scrip gift certificates/cards!
